Whether this mood is in a hotel or restaurant, an office, one’s home or a shop, proper tasteful lighting that melts into its surroundings will always affect a person. Even if, as is often the case, they do not realize it’s due to the lighting.

Different lights have different purposes and we always analyse the location and its future inhabitants before we decide on the types of lamps, their location in the space and the type of bulbs to be used.

Does the light play a purely functional role? Is it supposed to be part of the design? Or must it simply trigger a person’s senses in a positive way and put them at ease?
