Evelyne Bitar was born in Tripoli, Lebanon. After graduating from high school, she relocated to Beirut and later decided to pursue a Masters Degree in Interior Architecture at A.L.B.A. University. she graduated with honors in 2001.

Evelyne's first freelance project was completed during her second year at university and she continued with freelance work until her first full-time appointment in Beirut during 2001. In December 2003, she traveled to Dubai and shortly afterwards joined Union Properties as a project manager. There she directed the design and fit-out of the group's head office located in Dubai Investment Park.

She was appointed an adjunct faculty member at American University Dubai in January 2008.

October 2008, she created "BE" and became partner and Creative Director of the company.

Besides small projects such as furniture design, exhibition stands, apartments and retails units, her portfolio with 10 years of experience in the design field, also carries hotel and restaurant design.

Bob Boersen was born in London and spent his itinerate upbringing in ten countries. He graduated from high school in Vienna and moved to Denmark.

In 1996 he moved to The Hague to pursue a degree in International Hospitality Management and spent his career in Frankfurt, Cologne, London and Dubai working for names such as Kempinski, Hyatt and Le Meridien in the field of Food & Beverage.

His passion for restaurants led him to join a leading restaurant chain in Dubai as Operations Manager, experiencing both openings as well as new concept designs, before joining Evelyne with the passion to follow a dream!
